What is the UPRAA Volunteer Program?

The UPRAA Volunteer Program gives members the opportunity to engage in meaningful community service. Volunteers can participate in UPRAA’s events and programs, or contribute to personal causes that matter to them—with the full support of UPRAA.

As a recognized Certifying Organization of the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), UPRAA honors members who complete the required service hours with this prestigious national award.

How It Works

1. Become a Member & Volunteer – Join UPRAA and register as a volunteer.

2. Get Certified – UPRAA will verify your eligibility by confirming U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency, following PVSA’s requirements.

3. Track Your Service – Submit your volunteer hours through our tracking tool.

4. Earn Recognition – Once you reach a milestone, UPRAA validates your hours and submits your PVSA application.

Whenever possible, awards are presented during the UPRAA Excellence Awards event; otherwise, they will be mailed to recipients.

UPRAA also ensures accurate recordkeeping of all service hours, award history, and eligibility details, as required by the PVSA program.
